Behaviour

The sheep have a very strong homing instinct.

Work with their habits and behaviour and train them young and any problems will be minimised. Some sheep purchased from outside vendors have arrived with bad habits, learned elsewhere at a young age. Sheep bred and weaned in secure paddocks do not have these issues.

Handling these sheep in yards is very easy, as they are particularly forward moving and don’t need to be ‘pushed’ as hard as many other breeds.
